As you know, I normally post tightly cropped, non-posed portraits in this section, but today I couldn’t help but share this happy, wild, posed photo of many boys together.

Beach Boys – 14.9.2012
A picture says…. – 15.12.2011
Back to the kids – 8.10.2011
It’s about time to get back to my big love – the kids! These were the first kids pictures I took since I moved to South Africa, and I looked at them with a fresh view, and therefore fresh editing. Really like them!
School Kids – 15.6.2011
With the school holidays coming up, today’s post shows several kids in their school uniform. For some it’s not just another day at school, but an opportunity after years of difficulty, seeking refuge and/or just not being able to go to school. So, every school is a chance, for every child, for any future.
Bafanakids – 13.5.2011
Today we developed a trip including an excursion to the Bafanakids. These are kids in townships that get sponsored by either an individual, group or company with soccer gear, training and tournaments – all organised by the nonprofit organisation Bafanakids
I’ve witnessed several handovers of soccerkits and below pics are some of the faces of a team in Guguletu, a Cape Town township that has benefited the most from sponsorships, hereby uplifting a large part of the community.
Zulu – 11.5.2011
I’m back in town!
As promised, another post after returning from Durban last night (or must I say this morning?). This trip has inspired me to travel to even more places and one stand even had a camera with a 600 mm fixed lens as their central attraction – wow!
I also met the warm and great people from Amakhala several times, and I mentioned how their male lion has become my supermodel. Guess what, they said I could now name him! I’m not entirely sure yet, but it will come….
This trip to KwaZulu Natal reminded me of the Zulu people as we were greeted with great Zulu dances at the King Shaka airport upon arrival. So hereby some Zulu impressions.
